Darren Fago, CFA Sr. Portfolio Manager Balance Sheet Solutions, LLC

	"I have had the pleasure of working exclusively in the credit union industry for over the last ten years. During this time, I have developed a passion for what the industry stands for and the unique approach to service that credit unions provide. When I first had the opportunity to meet and learn about Balance Sheet Solutions (formerly Mid-States Investment Solutions), I was quite impressed with the organization's devotion to its core principles. I was also pleasantly surprised at the level of expertise and resources it had at its disposal. I was so impressed, in fact, I decided to join the team!
It is my goal to continue to leverage Balance Sheet Solutions' infrastructure to help members perform at their highest possible standards. I sincerely believe that the Investment Advisory Services that we provide through the Financial Strategies Group is one of the most effective ways we can add value to natural-person credit unions. Our focus on total balance sheet solutions is truly unique, and I'm looking forward to getting the word out."

As Senior Portfolio Manager, Darren is responsible for managing several investment portfolios through the CUSO's Investment Advisory service. Darren also assists credit unions in designing and implementing successful balance sheet strategies.

Prior to this, Darren was a Financial Management Consultant at CUNA Mutual Group. He advised credit unions on finance issues, conducted asset/liability management training sessions, developed and presented financial analysis workshops, wrote articles for various publications, and frequently spoke at national credit union seminars.

Previously Darren worked as a software specialist, and as an accountant.

Darren holds a Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University, and his M.B.A. in Finance from Edgewood College. Darren also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute of Chicago.
